We are proud to announce that our Cincinnati Upshifter of the Week is Mark S. Mark S has worked numerous shifts over a variety of industries. Mark has worked almost 300 hours and has a 5-star rating!
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I have a culinary degree and used to work in the food industry so it is nice being able to jump back into those jobs through Upshift. I now have an accounting degree but it was hard finding a job during COVID so it was nice having Upshift during those times.
How has it been working on Upshift?
It’s been really good. I am able to work regularly at Pure Romance because I have worked a number of shifts with them. They have a good system, are organized, and I like that there is a variety of what I get to do at the shifts. I also like Tennant Packaging because it is a pleasant environment and simple work.
What do you like most about Upshift?
I like the flexibility and being able to pick up shifts as I want. Upshift allows me to work on weekends and work around other responsibilities. One night, I actually picked up a shift within 3 hours of the shift so I like that it can be a last-minute decision.
