- We are required by US Federal law to verify your identity in person for your I9. We’ll also provide you with a brief overview of our policies and procedures.
- You’ll only need to do the onboarding once to get easy access to different shifts on the Upshift app
- Joining Upshift means you won’t have to do any interviews or send any resumes in the future to apply for shifts through our app!
One of our friendly community representatives will guide the presentation of our policies and procedures as well as explain how to use our app.
Then you’ll be asked to present your document so we can register your information. You can find a list of accepted documents here: https://upshift.work/i9
The average pay in 2021 was $16.99/hr. The vast majority of the shifts are either in hospitality/food service positions such as Banquet Server, Cashier, Housekeeping, Line Cook, Dishwasher, and Bartender or warehouse positions such as Warehouse Associate, Picker, Assembler, Packer.
Please note that depending on the city not all of these options might be available. We’re growing fast and adding new options for our Upshifters every week!
