Become an Upshifter in 4 Easy Steps
Apply for flexible shifts at warehouses, fulfillment centers, and manufacturing companies!
Step 1
Go through our application process once to become an Upshifter
Apply to Upshift and complete the online assessment. Keep in mind though that only 12% of applicants to Upshift are accepted so make sure to do a great job on your assessment! If you pass the assessment, then you are able to schedule a time to complete your in-person onboarding at our office.
Step 2
You’ll get access to local jobs that fit your interests and skills
After your onboarding session, you’re all set and ready to start picking up flexible work. Upshift has everything from flexible shifts to full and part-time jobs available in the app. Log in to your Upshift app to apply for available positions in your area. Once you get accepted for a shift, just confirm it and it’s yours! You can apply for multiple shifts based on your availability and interests!
Step 3
Get paid weekly and enjoy work benefits
Clock in on the app when you’re ready to start working. Once your shift is over, clock out. You will then be asked to rate your experience working with that company and the job itself. The company will also give you a rating out of 5 stars, based on your performance. You will get paid directly to your bank account or cash card each Friday for the prior week.

Build your reputation through your profile and access higher-paying jobs.
Develop new skills from each shift you work and add them to your profile. Collect reviews from employers and build your reputation. As your profile improves, you will be more likely to be selected for higher-paying jobs.
