View all frequently asked questionsUpshift doesn’t charge users any fees. Your earnings remain intact. Our revenue comes from businesses paying us after successful shift completion, covering worker’s compensation insurance, unemployment insurance, and employer taxes.
Users get paid weekly. Payments, covering Monday to Sunday, are processed and sent out the following Friday. After two direct deposits, you can qualify for same-day pay via our partner, Earnin.
No minimum hours are required. You can choose your hours, work as little or as much as you want up to 40 hours per week without client approval. If approved, you can work more than 40 hours.
As an Upshifter, you’re a W2 employee. We pay your FICA taxes, and you can access traditional employee benefits while maintaining work flexibility with Upshift.
