Upshifter of the Month
Few Upshifters have deserved the Upshifter of the Month recognition more than Subia M. Since July- Subia has worked more than 485 hours and been given some of the best reviews and feedback we’ve seen, as well as at least one full-time job offer from an Upshift client. In addition to her incredible work ethic, she is dependable, adaptable, conscientious, and friendly. She’s been widely recognized for bringing ingenuity, determination, and her best self to every shift and has been an incredible representative for Upshift everywhere she works.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’ve worked in a variety of industries from fine jewelry to banking and light industrial. I like to work in different environments and to constantly learn and grow. I started school at Michigan State University but recently decided to take some time for myself to reflect and focus on finding a career choice that will truly make me happy and successful. Upshift allows for so much flexibility and freedom of choice that I can decide when to work and where to work, so it’s really beneficial.
How has it been working on Upshift?
So far, working for Upshift has been fantastic! I have worked in two different warehouses, bartended a launch party, banquet served a wedding, and was able to see a cow give birth while working at the State Fair! I’ve met some cool people and the Upshift managers are supportive and more than happy to answer any questions I have.
What do you like most about Upshift?
I love the flexibility of Upshift. You can pick when, where, and how often you want to work, all with the convenience of an app on your phone. It really doesn’t get better than that.
