Tell us what got you into Upshift?
I heard about Upshift from one of my friends in 2023. I was reentering the workforce but wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. The options Upshift offered seemed like the perfect thing to help me find a job I loved.
What do you do outside of work?
I really enjoy spending time with friends and family outside of work. My kids are getting older so they keep me really busy. There is always some event or activity we’re going to together.

Do you have any advice for new Upshifters?
The biggest piece of advice is to be open to working a variety of different positions. This allowed me to find shifts that I really enjoyed. There are a lot of great options in both the hospitality and light industrial spaces.
What has your experience been like on Upshift?
I’ve really enjoyed being able to work at a bunch of different locations around town. I’ve worked both hospitality and light industrial shifts since joining the platform. Some of my favorite shifts have been at Paycor, TQL and The Village @ Erlanger. The whole team at The Village is great and I really enjoy working with the residents.
