Tell us what got you into Upshift?
I found Upshift in 2023 while on social media. I never heard of anything like it but it really intrigued me. I had been working in an office for about 30 years and was looking for a change. The flexibility Upshift offers was the perfect fit for me.
What do you do outside of work?
I have 3 kids who are grown up and live within a few hours of Cincinnati so we love to go visit them as much as possible. The flexibility Upshift offers has allowed us to travel more to spend time with family.

Do you have any advice for new Upshifters?
I recommend everyone be open to trying new things. I’ve found some of my favorite shifts and places to work by being willing to try them out. You’ll only know what you enjoy doing by giving different options a try.
What has your experience been like on Upshift?
I really enjoy being able to work a variety of shifts and positions. Recently, I’ve been working as a housekeeper, dishwasher and banquet server. Some of my favorite places to work have been Great Wolf Lodge, Crothall @UC Health and Elegant Fare. Elegant Fare’s team is professional and hosts some great events around town.
