Tell us what got you into Upshift?
I heard about Upshift from one of my coworkers. Upshift sounded like a great fit for me as I was looking for a job with more flexibility. I onboarded in the Summer of 2024 and have really enjoyed working shifts on the platform.
What do you do outside of work?
My favorite thing to do is spend time on personal fitness. I train and exercise diligently in my free time. It’s something that I’ve done for a long time and is a passion of mine.

Do you have any advice for new Upshifters?
The main advice I would give is to make sure you read through the shift details to ensure you are prepared for your shift before attending. This will put you in the best position to be successful once you arrive for your shift.
What has your experience been like on Upshift?
I really like that there are a variety of different positions and businesses to work at around town. I’ve worked as a dishwasher, production associate and cook since joining the Upshift. My favorite shifts have been working as a cook at the University of Cincinnati. They have a great team who create a fun working environment.
