Tell us what got you into Upshift?
I heard about Upshift from a friend in 2018. I was looking for something flexible where I could work part time around my full time job. Upshift was the perfect fit for me and have been working shifts ever since.
What do you do outside of work?
I have a business with my husband where we sell sports merchandise. We’ve been doing it for awhile and really enjoy it. When I’m not working, I love spending time with family and traveling. We have family in Detroit and Toledo so we drive up there to spend time with them.

Do you have any advice for new Upshifters?
The main advice I would give is to try out a few different things to figure out what you like. There are so many options on Upshift so it’s all about figuring out what the best fit is for you. I’ve been very lucky to have worked at so many great places since joining the platform.
What has your experience been like on Upshift?
I’ve really enjoyed my time working on Upshift. I’ve worked at dozens of businesses across the Cincinnati area and have had really good experiences. I have worked both on the light industrial and hospitality side. Recently, I’ve been focused more on hospitality shifts and have really enjoyed working at the The Village @ Erlanger in Northern Kentucky. The staff and residents are great there!
