Tell us what got you into Upshift?
I signed up for Upshift in 2022 after hearing about it from friends. I was extremely busy at the time so I wasn’t able to pick up shifts right away. I started picking up shifts in 2023 and never looked back.
What do you do outside of work?
Obviously, I try to spend as much time with my family as possible. I’m from Cincinnati originally and we’re a big sports family. We love going to Reds and Bengals games.

Do you have any advice for new Upshifters?
It’s important to find shifts that you really like. I think you have the best chance of success if you find positions which you enjoy and that fit your skillset. I’ve had the opportunity to work a variety of different positions so I know there is something out there for everyone.
What has your experience been like on Upshift?
I’ve worked at more than two dozen locations and have really enjoyed my experiences. I had hospitality experience before joining the platform so those have been the shifts I’ve focused on. Currently, I’ve been working a lot of shifts at the Summit Hotel. Their team creates a great work environment.
