Tell us what got you into Upshift?
I heard about Upshift from some friends and decided to onboard in the fall of 2022. My life at the time was a bit chaotic so I was looking for something that could accommodate a schedule that changes week to week. Upshift allowed me to pick up shifts based on my schedule.
What do you do outside of work?
I love doing a variety of different DIY projects in my free time. Recently I’ve been refurbishing old furniture for my house. I just wrapped up working on a coffee table for my living room and the next project is going to be refurbishing an entertainment center.

Do you have any advice for new Upshifters?
The main advice I would give is to read through the shift details so you understand the position and requirements before applying. This will help you pick a position and place that will allow you to be successful. I was able to find the perfect situation for me right on the app.
What has your experience been like on Upshift?
I was lucky to have found shifts at TENTE Casters when I first joined the platform. This was the place I worked at and have been going back ever since. I’ve been working as a production assembler and really enjoy it. The atmosphere is great and the people make it a really fun place to work.
