Tell us what got you into Upshift?
I found Upshift online when I was searching for jobs with a flexible schedule. I was going through a time of transition in my life and needed to be able to make my own schedule. I onboarded in September, 2022 and never looked back.
What do you do outside of work?
I’ve been acting and involved with the theatre since I was in high school and it’s still a passion of mine. I like being part of local theatre groups and have done some commercials as well. I also like to stay active by working out and doing different types of dance classes.

Do you have any advice for new Upshifters?
The main advice I would give is to try out different shifts until you find ones that you really enjoy. There are so many great options and one of my favorite things has been trying out a variety of different shifts.
What has your experience been like on Upshift?
I really enjoy that I’ve been able to work different positions since I’ve joined the platform from cashier to banquet server to food service associate. Some of my favorite shifts have been at Denison University. They made me feel like a valued part of the team from my very first shift.
