Tell us a bit about yourself. 

I got my start in the hospitality industry over 20 years ago at the iconic Rigsby’s Kitchen. Since then I’ve gained quite a bit of experience across fine dining, catering, and even managing dining operations for military contracts. Prior to discovering Upshift, I was recruited to manage the successful opening of a popular Gastropub in Columbus.

How has it been working on Upshift?

Working with Upshift has been great. In addition to the knowledge I’ve gained through my own experience, working at many different businesses has exposed me to new techniques, practices and methods of operation. Not only has this expanded my own knowledge and experience, it has also allowed me to share some of the best practices I’ve learned along the way.

What do you like most about Upshift?

I really like the people I get to work with and the team at Upshift. I always feel comfortable going to my community manager with any questions I have about a certain shift. Also, the platform is very convenient. I like all the reminders that come across to keep you updated on what’s going on with your shift, along with how informative the app’s shift details page is so that you know exactly what to expect before applying.
