Tell us what got you into Upshift?
I heard about Upshift from a friend in 2022. The idea of being able to make your own schedule and work flexibly really appealed to me. I was looking for a way to make extra money but couldn’t commit to a set schedule every week. I onboarded in November, 2022 and have really enjoyed it.
What do you do outside of work?
Work keeps me really busy but I try to spend as much time as possible with family. I also love watching movies and tv shows during my down time. I mostly watch comedies and dramas. I’ve currently been rewatching Suits which is one of my favorite shows.

Do you have any advice for new Upshifters?
You really need to approach this with an open mind. Picking up shifts on an app isn’t something you may be used to but it’s really a great experience. I always recommend that my friends and family join Upshift.
What has your experience been like on Upshift?
I’ve really enjoyed my time on Upshift so far. I’ve worked shifts at a few different locations but most of the them have been at The Graduate Cincinnati. While at the Graduate, I work as a banquet server and banquet bartender. I really connected with the staff there and they’ve treated me so well ever since my first shift.
