Tell us what got you into Upshift?
I heard about Upshift from one of my friends while I was in college. I was looking for something flexible that would allow me to work around my class schedule. Upshift was the perfect fit for me back then and I’ve continued working shifts once school wrapped up.
What do you do outside of work?
I’m currently preparing to go to trade school so I’m very excited about that. I recently gotten into archery and it’s become my main hobby when I’m not working. It’s been a blast to dive into it and I’m learning a lot. It’s both a challenging and fun hobby.

Do you have any advice for new Upshifters?
I would recommend looking for shifts that fit your strengths and experience. There are a variety of different types of shifts which will allow you to find something that you like.
What has your experience been like on Upshift?
I’ve mostly worked shifts on the hospitality side including as a concession attendant, banquet server and cook. I’ve really enjoyed working as a cook at the Hollywood Casino Lawrenceburg. They have a great team there who create a fun work environment.
